I really enjoyed creating this book as I got to find out more about the piers in the area I live. I also learned more about book-binding and how to lay out images and text to create an interesting publication. I struggled at first to create the fold-out pages as I tried to print on a roll of paper and it kept going wrong. This forced me to find a new way of making them and that's when I decided to use crosses of silver card to attach each part. I feel like this worked well but could have been better if I thought of this earlier. Overall I think the outcome was good and although I would have liked to have spent more time on the final book, I am very pleased with it.
